Social Intelligence

A fascinating radio interview with Daniel Goleman, discussing the phenomenon of "social intelligence," can be found here. Goleman is the author of "Social Intelligence: The New Science of Human Relationships," which is next on my list of books to read, and has also written extensively on the concept of "emotional intelligence."

Among the topics discussed in this interview is the effect of positive and negative social interactions on the brain and other aspects of our physiology, the important role of social "harmony" in promoting the success of groups or organizations, and a whole range of other fascinating topics with direct parallels to the teachings of the Baha'i Faith. It's one of those radio programs that you won't be able to tear yourself away from, so enjoy!
